Clean nails are very important. If your nails aren't clean then you can get infections and you most definitely won't have healthy nails. I'm pretty sure nobody wants to walk around with built up dirt in there nails. I mean if you do by all mean do so...
To make sure your hands are clean you could count to 20 or sing happy birthday. This makes sure all the germs are being removed.
This is a good thing to do because your hands will get dry after washing them. When you moisturize your hands it improves the appearance and make sure the skin around your nails stay health.
This is very important because if you are suing dirty nail tools on your nails you can cause infections. Nobody wants infections on there fingers, at least I don't. There is another page on my website explaing more and giving steps on this specific step.
This gets all of the dirt and build up from under your nails out. A tool you could use is a nail brush, you could also use your fingernails to take out the dirt. I prefer a nail brush though.
You should trim your nails every now and then because if your nails get to long they can break off and rip your nails bed. Trimming your nails stop you from getting ingrown nails in your toes and fingernails. Also long fingernails and toenails can collect more dirt and bacteria rather than short nails.
You shouldn't cut your cuticles so often because they act as barriers for your nails. Cuticles protect your nails from bacteria that can later cause infections. Not saying you can't cut them but don't cut them all the times.
This is what healthy clean nails look like !
